This is part 3 of 'The Sovereignty of God in Salvation Debate' (part 1 of the Effectual Calling section).
Rev. Vern Picknally (Bethel OPC, Carson, ND) and Rev. Mike McGee (Harvest RCUS, Minot, ND) debate Dr. Keith Ritche and Rev. Doug Wyatt on the Sovereignty of God in Salvation.
The debate is friendly but energetic. In first half of the debate (2 parts), Vern and Keith discuss the doctrine of election. Then in the second half of the debate (2 parts), Mike and Doug deal with the doctrine of Effectual Calling or Irresitable Grace.
Keith Ritche was ordained to the ministry of the Wesleyan Church in 2003. He has a B.S. in Business Administration, an M.A. in Theology, and a Doctorate in Divinity. He currently pastors Cornorstone Community Church in Bismarck, ND.
Doug Wyatt was licensed as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene in 1986 and ordained in 1993. He received his B.A. from Mid-America Nazarene University and has nearly completed a Masters degree from Southwest Seminary and Bible College. He currently pastors First Church of the Nazarene in Mandan, ND.
The total debate is in four parts. We apologize for the noise interference on part 4 (Effectual Calling Part 2)for the first 40 minutes.
