The second thing we read about after Jesus began his earthly ministry was the cleansing of the temple. He drove out the merchants and money changers that were defiling the temple of God. In the same passage he refers to his body as a temple. Our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. We are to be as aggressive about driving out anything that would defile and corrupt this temple as Jesus was when He took a whip and drove those people out of the temple. He did not try to reason or negotiate with them, He simply drove them out by force. We must do likewise with the temple of our body.
