Topic: There are many kinds of spirit beings. We are going to explore what the bible has to say about the spirit realm. That world consists of good and evil, just like ours. If you don't have the spirit of God in you, then the demons of Satan are guiding you. The spirit world leads the physical world. You never lead yourself. There are many different spirit beings listed in the bible. Psychics, mediums, and other occultists are looking for information from the spirit world, but the bible tells us to leave that alone.
Regarding Cherubims (mentioned 95 times in scripture) Genesis 3:23-24: God placed Cherubims at the east end to guard the Garden of Eden with spinning flaming swords so Adam and Eve can't get at the Tree of Life. God did not want Adam and Eve to live in a state of sin for ever and ever, so He cut off access to the Tree of Life.
Exodus 25:17-22: Noah is being directed how to build the Arc of the Covenant. It has a mercy seat where the priests sprinkled blood on the seat and God hovered over the mercy seat. Two Cherubims of gold are placed on either side of the arc of the covenant to overlook the mercy seat. Cherubims protect mankind from their own sins. God instructed Noah to put the 10 Commandments on the mercy seat. God lets these spirit beings appear from time to time, when it serves His purpose. Read Rev 4 and Ezek 4 to compare visions of different groups of beings. We don't think they are cherubim. I Kings 6:23: within the oracle....
