If He stood in your place and suffered the most agonizing punishment and death for you. If Jesus took your law place and imputed to you His own righteousness, would that save you or make the way for your salvation? ‎The death and burial were vital and most extremely necessary events in history, but the single greatest Truth in all of history is not merely and event, but it is a person. ‎The Resurrection is not just a thing that happened in time, for Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. ‎That is why Paul said that if Christ is not raised then you are still dead in your sins. The Truth of the Resurrection is not just that Jesus Died, it is that He arose, as the Resurrection itself.
