Day 1: What is "holiness"? "Holiness" is not necessarily what? Within the law given by God through Moses, what are some terms used to categorize those commands? What were the purposes of "ceremonial" commands? Where in the Old and New Testament would you go if you wanted to show someone this from Scripture?
Day 2: Read 1 Peter 1:15; Hebrews 12:14. What do these verses mean and not mean in regards to holiness? What book in the New Testament discusses our freedom from the Mosaic Law? What passages in the New Testament could you use to show someone about the use/non-use of food in regards to the law?
Day 3: Read Rom. 12:2, 1 John 2:15, James 4:4 . What is the main emphasis of these verses in regards to understanding the meaning of holiness as a Church? Who did Paul write to, exhorting him to be an example? Why is this significant for understanding holiness?
