What they don't realize is what we are meant to see: God's providence is at work even in man's wickedness. The brothers try their hardest to thwart God's plans but their actions are the very instruments God uses to fulfill His plan. The lesson we learn from their actions is to cooperate with and place our confidence in God's providence.
