This is a study of Paul’s first epistle, the epistle to the Church at Thessalonica. This is the first epistle that Paul ever wrote. Thessalonica was a Roman Colony city, right in the heart of the Roman empire, with a rich, long and varied history. Here we look at how our Lord has called us to a quiet life. This is a life lived in conformity with His Word and by the power of His Holy Spirit in us. It is a life that is peaceful, ordered and pleasing to Him. This quiet life should be supremely evident in our Christian homes.
