In this passage we see examples of God's sovereignty in the twists and turns of life - specifically here in Paul's journey to Jerusalem. In the midst of changes in directions and plans, God uses his servant Paul to perform the miracle of bringing a dead man back to life. Even though we do not see men physically being brought back to life in this day and age, we must never lose awe of the miracle of when a sinner repents and turns to the Lord. When things do not go as planned, we must be reminded to stay on the narrow path even when its winding because God's ways are always greater than ours.
