After Sodoms' ruin, Lot demonstrated a fickle generation bu not heeding the Lord's warning and compromising God's command by dweilling in a cave and not in Zoar. A wounded conscience forces Lot to dwell in a cave. A forbidden generation was pursued and accomplished by the daughters as they dwelt in a dark existence with a sense of hopelessness. A foreign generation was created in the Moabites and Amorites who worshipped false gods and were essentially excommunicated. Application: Listen to the voice of God, control the passions of the flesh. Know that God redeems hopelessness to hope in that the savior comes through the renegade generation of the Moabites. God's plan is to forgive sin even through a multigenerational curse.
