It is now with his change in perspective that Job will finally be both vidicated and restored by God. But first, God, in anger, condemns Job's 3 friends by telling them they had been wrong in their belief that perhaps Job was suffering due to his sin. While worthy of judgement, God instead grants them mercy by commanding them to offer a brunt offering before the Lord and plead for Job to pray and intercede on their behalf.
