THERE IS HOPE FOR PERISHING SINNERS! No hope for the WHOLE-HEARTED, for Christ came not to call the righteousn but sinners to repentance. If your heart has been broken under a sight of your sin and guilt, you surely feel to be lost and perishing, and you desire a salvation that is as good as GOD can give. THEN CHRIST IS YOUR ONLY HOPE. He is the Christ of God β Jehovah Jesus or Jehovah Saviour.
And He is SOVEREIGN in His mercy. But if we stand before a "HELPLESS JESUS" who is begging us to "do something" so that His effort to save us will not be in vain, this is not the JESUS who SAVES!
The JESUS OF THE BIBLE who saves is no failure but fully successful in all He planned to do, and He is pleased to extend His mercy according to HIS FREE WILL, not ours. But you have His promises β here is one: "Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously" (Hosea 14:2). Seek HIM! Amen!
