Last week, we continued talking about the healing power of prayer. And if you'l remember, we said that for prayer to have power, first there has to be a confession that proceeds it. That is, you have to get right with God before you go to Him on behalf of somebody else. And then we said that once you've done that, it is then, and only then, that we can truly intercede for somebody . It is then and only then that we can begin praying with power.
This morning, as we continue in the book of James, I want you to see the illustration that James gives. It's the illustration that proves the power of prayer. And James illustrates it with Elijah. |
