The question discussed here in a Wednesday night chalk talk is: WHO IS A JEW? WILL THE JEWS BE RESTORED? IN BIBLE PROPHECY, DO WE FIND THE TEACHING OF A FUTURE JEWISH-DOMINATED EARTHLY KINGDOM OF CHRIST?
A look at Daniel's prophecy of 70 weeks, as it relates to the coming of Christ and the Millennium. We find in the Scriptures no such future Jewish kingdom as the millennial teachings of the present day would have it ... or as the Scofield Bible teaches.
When Brother Barnard was preaching in his church, a young Pastor Stephens pulled out all his dispensational charts (Scofieldism) and showed them to the evangelist. "Oh," said Bro. Barnard, "I see you've got God confined to a bunch of charts you can keep in a box!" Stephens began to study the issues outside of Scofield's views and came to the conclusion that the CHURCH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (for whom He shed His precious blood!) will never be SET ASIDE, and God will NEVER turn to natural Israel again.
A worthy study of prophecy, somewhat repetitive and slow in progress, but herein you will find the truth. WE ARE THANKFUL TO GOD FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF PRESENTING THIS SOUND TEACHING IN OPPOSITION OF THE THEORIES THAT HAVE KEPT FUNDAMENTALISM IN BONDAGE FOR SO MANY YEARS. “ Great Sermon! ” I have enjoyed listening to this lesson by Pastor Stephens, and have always believed the truth of this. That is a miracle that I do not understand, except that to me there was no sense in the Lord Jesus repeating what He has already done, and having the outcome be the same all over again. Naturally I didn't know when the Jews came into the picture, and this was very interesting. If he has more teaching on this or any other subject I'd be glad to hear him.
