No sinner can be saved by feigning to "live a holy life." No person is ever admitted into our Lord's presence on the basis of his own personal holy life. SALVATION IS ALL OF GRACE.
But there is no sinner saved apart from holiness β "Without holiness no man shall see the Lord." This outward holy life is but a reflection of the grace of God within. Without holiness, your mouth's witnessing to the grace of God will prove in vain.
Let us trust in PURE GRACE alone, while seeking to live lives in total obedience to the Christ who saved us! To walk in self-righteousness is damning to the soul; it is equally damning to wallow in sin under a profession of grace.
We are not wicked antinomians, neither are we self-sufficient legalists. Brother Johnson makes the proper distinction in this message. We pray you will listen and HEED!
