“ Great Sermon! ” Very encouraging message...I needed this tonight..was very restless and focusing on things that I don't have rather than thanking God for what He has given me; God always uses His Word to re-direct when we are off course. “ Great Sermon! ” Something will rule your heart, whether it is physical pain, worry, anger or...the peace of God. Do not pray for the peace of God, allow the peace of God to rule in your heart.
Peace can only rule by an act of your will. You cannot always dictate the circumstances in life, but you can dictate your response.
Peace rules the heart, not necessarily the circumstances of life.
This sermon was a great reminder of the need to abide in Christ and His peace. We must chose this course of our own free will, as God works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
