Sometimes we avoid or shy away from certain scriptural truths because un-scriptural preachers have hijacked, twisted, and perverted the truth. But, no matter how wrongly certain truths have been handled by false teachers, it doesn't make those truths any less true.
We ought to preach and embrace the truth, no matter how many people have misused it. We need never be reactive. We need never be on the defense as God's people. We just need to live, pressing toward the mark of the high calling in Jesus Christ, and not give in to any of the noise around us.
We need to preach and embrace the truth. And the law of the harvest is one of those scriptural truths we need not shy away from.
"Good Measure" means more than you deserve, more than you bargained for, more than you paid for -- And he gives us not only good measure (more than required), but packs it down extra, shakes more in, makes sure it's overflowing, and then pours all of this into our laps. And this is not a new doctrine.
