"So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days." —Nehemiah 6:15
There's an old saying that goes something like, "God isn't looking for success...just faithfulness." While it is very true that the Lord is not interested in "success" in church work as its perceived today in many circles, He is very interested in the true success of His Church and therefore of the various works/workers in His Church. He does call us to be faithful, that cannot be denied. But to imagine that we should not look for real success in the work of God is foreign to Scripture.

There were certain things that went into securing that victory in Nehemiah's day...and they are the same things that go into securing the victory in any work for God.
This message gives an overview of the obstacles that have to be overcome in order to achieve true success.
