Great Sermon! It's too bad the men who need to hear this sermon the most will never find it because they never go looking for it. I wish there were more pastors like Paul Washer standing in the pulpit maybe we wouldn't have so many broken families even amongst the people claiming to be Christians. All i see in churches in my area are women coming to church on sunday without their husbands.

MEN, PLEASE LISTEN This is by far the best sermon on marriage available on this great web site. MEN, if you strive to be like Jesus, then you must listen to this. I had to put aside everything that I knew about marriage and my role as a man and follow a brand new path, which I believe is the right and the only one. It challenged me and broke me into pieces (for the better). I was at the lowest of lows in my marriage when God spoke to my heart and I downloaded every sermon on marriage preached by this man. I also began studying more the life of Jesus Christ only to discover an amazing fact : JESUS CHRIST NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT HIMSELF. Men, if we try to save our lives even in marriage, we will lose it, but if we lose it for his sake, we will find it (Matt 16:25) I cannot thank God enough for his grace and the transformation I'm now seeing in my marriage. We must be godly men confirmed to the image of Christ or else we are doomed to fail in EVERYTHING we do and we will be held accountable on judgment day. I also strongly recommend that you run to your nearest bookstore and get THE EXEMPLARY HUSBAND by Stuart Scott. You'll be glad you did and your wife will thank you. Had not God left us his Word, this book would have been my only road map for a successful marriage that glorifies him. God bless you all.

Must hear for every man To all my brothers in Christ: This sermon is the best I've ever heard on loving your wife as Christ loved the church and being the servant/leader of your home. Paul Washer pulls no punches in this message and it really (... no I mean REALLY ...) hit me like a mack truck. If you want to know how to be the husband and father that God wants you to be, grab your Bible, this message, and go to a quiet place and listen to God speak through His servant. Oh ... you might want to grab a handkerchief, I wept over my ineptitude when listening to this message. May God use this to build real men for His kingdom.
