The title of this message was 'FIGHTING IN THIS FIGHT.' (Affirming Truth).
Several text were used to include John 14:1-6, with the main verse being verse 6. Also a thought from Jude 1:3 in contending for the faith with combining these truths to show that we cannot not waiver upon the fundamental truths of Salvation.
1. Christ is the only Way. 2. Christ is the Truth. 3. Christ is the Life. 4. Christ is the only way to the Father.
5. There is but One True Living God, and it must be the God of the Bible.
This is the fight that we are in. To win the hearts and minds of men to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
