Their slavery pictured the slavery of all men to sin and Law resulting in death. 4. And a people under slavery cannot free themselves. 5. And God appeared to teach this truth in His dealings with Pharaoh. 6. Pharaoh could not just set the people free. Even the 9 plagues could not persuade him to set them free. 7. However, when the 10th plague came, the death of the first-born, God's people were set free. 8. But this happens in the context of repeated testimonies of God hardening Pharaoh and Pharaoh hardening his own heart. 9. There is much great gospel nuggets to glean from this message. 10.
