God had compassion on Lot and sparred his life. This passage shows that people of all time are sinners just like us and we all need a Savior. Jesus is the One who alone can save. Jesus should not be one of the most important people in our lives. Jesus is not to be the most important person in our lives. Jesus is our life. When we do what God wants us to do, He gives us the power to get done what needs to be done. We shoudl do what God tells us and not what looks good at the time.
