How can we live to the glory of God? Jesus and the apostles say this can happen by our prayers, our conduct, our generosity and our unity, especially in the context of difficulties. We glorify God especially by our faith, that is, by receiving all God gives, and again, especially when this faith is contested.
Peter learned about glory from Jesus, first hand. He discovered his own shame and then saw the glory of God in the resurrection. He says we love Christ with love that is 'full of glory'. Glorifying God is more than doing the right thing. It is living transparently, so that it is clear that the joy and hope of our life is Jesus Christ and the Father who sent him. People see this and glorify God. Our life has actually become a revelation of God himself. We are, indeed, the image and glory of God.
