Having seen these wonderful things He has done for us, they are to cause us to proclaim His excellencies in all that we do. We do this because He has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. He has made we gentiles who were not the people of God to be the people of God. God used these words in the life of His prophet Hosea in a remarkable way, instructing Hosea to marry a harlot and have children of harlotry.
