Getting Armed for Suffering! Arm yourselves for suffering! With the same intention as Christ (1) Since He suffered in the flesh (1a) Because the one who has suffered has ceased from sin (1b) So as to live the rest of your life for the will of God (2-5) No longer for the lusts of men (2) Your sins of times past are enough (3) In spite of the pagans around you (4-5) They are surprised that you don't run with them (4a) They malign you (4b) They will give account to God (5) Because your suffering does not prevent your resurrection (6) Some who have believed the Gospel have died (6a) They will live in the spirit according to God (6b)
