Jesus came to cause the blind to see, and some people try to stop anyone from seeing His incarnation. Jesus came to proclaim liberty and freedom and people want to put on the bondage of legalism and mans opinions on to the backs of Gods sheep. So what is the Promise of Christmas? It is to Proclaim the Majesty of the virgin born miracle, for unto us is born this day in the city of David, a Savior who is Christ the Lord. It is to tell the world that even though you might deny God, He came in the flesh and tabernacled with men. Jeremiah 33:14–15 Augustine said: "He, through whom time was made, was made in time;and He, older by eternity that the world itself, was younger in age than many of His servants in the world;He, who made man, was made man; He was given existence by a mother whom He brought into existence
