Samson breaks his Nazarite vows on several occassions in this chapter and yet God overrules his sins and gives him success. He does God's work in the wrong way and still has blessing. And yet we find that Samson personally suffers great loss. There are situations in which God's work has been done in a wrong way and still seems to have blessing. The lesson of this chapter is that you cannot get away with doing God's work in the wrong way without suffering consequences.
