His recorded thoughts about his pain of separation and doubts about God's love are not a sedative, but more like a strong shot of tonic. This book was first published under a pseudonym.
The Bible is full of accounts of godly man and women who bore their souls in complaint and questioning without impugning the Lord's name.
vss. 1-6, the life of Christian devotion involves our whole being: body, soul, and spirit.
