A godly mother is a praying mother. She not only fervently prays, but she is also full of praise. In 1 Samuel 1, we have Hannah's prayer of petition. In Chapter 2, we have her prayer of praise.
Brethren, God loves it when we continually praise. Whether through times of trial, times of tribulation, or times of despair, let us be mindful of always heaping praise upon the Lord God Almighty.
Consider these words of Job, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him..." (Job 13:15, KJB) Christian, are you ready to lose it all and still praise God? Think about that for a moment.
Brethren, , I adjure you that regardless of what troubles and trials you may be going through at this present moment, PLEASE be mindful of praising God through it all. This is the right mindset of the saint. We are not here to wallow in self-pity but rather extol upon our Saviour his much-deserved praise. For our God, Who is the God of the mountain, is also the God of the valley. Therefore, He is worthy of all our praise!
God loves it when we praise Him. Hannah had just left Samuel with Eli at the Tabernacle and gone back home when she prayed, "My heart rejoiceth in the LORD". |
