Fervently Love One Another with the Heart 1 Peter 1:22-25 There is no greater force than love. The very core of this paragraph is a single phrase in 1 Peter 1:22, the "sincere love of the brethren." That's the core. That's the center. Everything else revolves around the thought of this followed by a command to "love one another fervently." Four Reasons why we are to love one another Fervently. Reason 1 you have purified your souls v.22 Reason 2 We are obedient when we love them v.22 Reason 3 you are born again by the Word of God v.23 Reason 4 your flesh withers and falls away v.24-25 Society is becoming less personal and more and more virtual and digital, which means you and I, must be more purposeful about the real deal. It says, "with a pure heart." Not just routinely, not just dutifully, but from a pure heart. This is how it goes: your decision is the engine; your feeling is the caboose. When you plan to show love, the feelings will follow. The feelings follow the act of love.
