God memorialized the Gospel message of Jesus Christ in seven holy days of Israel's calendar. The feast of the trumpets is the fifth holy day in God's calendar. On the first day of the seventh month of God's calendar, God called for the blasting of the trumpets throughout the land to warn that the day of judgment has come. It is the last chance to repent. The tenth day of the seventh month is the Day of Atonement. This is followed by the Feast of Ingathering on the fifteenth day of the month. The blasting of the trumpets in the seventh month is called Yom Teruah. When the trumpets blow on the first day of the seventh month, it is an announcement that God's work on earth is complete, Christ is coming, and the day of atonement is here. The seventh month begins with the first appearance of moonlight. Like the appearance of Christ, light shines in darkness. Every new appearance of moonlight is a reminder that Christ will return. The message of Yom Teruah is, "Repent now or be forever lost in condemnation." Repentance is the message. Turn from sin! Turn to God.
