Normally we hear of a quitting faith we think in the negative, yet here it is in the positive sense. There are something's in our lives that we need to get rid of. Just as Moses forsook or quit Egypt we too must get rid of this stuff. If the race is to be run successfully we must work out so we can shed those pounds that are hurting us. These things may not be sins but as a weight or burden it is hindering us. All these things, whether burdens or sins, are taking away from our time with Jesus. Sometime's we will forsake Him. What we need to do is as the disciples did and although they forsook Him they came back. Too many forsake and stay away, but not everyone who comes in the first place is saved. So for them they didn't really have the faith to quit anyway. But for those who truly are saved we gotta be careful and avoid those things that will hinder us from going forward. If God gives you the ability to do something don't be afraid be like Moses and go do it, leaving all the wrong stuff behind.
