In this chapter, the apostle Paul speaks of his earnest desire to see the Thessalonians and know the certainty of their faith. He sent Timothy to them establish them and bolster their faith and Timothy came back with a great report. Paul encouraged them not to faint in the trials because the afflications were ordained of God. He knew their faith needed to increase therefore he prayed for them day and night. In his closing remarks, Paul encouraged them to increase and abound in love one toward another and to all - to the end that their hearts might be established in holiness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Great chapter!
