Lesson 1: __________________ __________ is divinely revealed (Luke 9:45  cf. Luke 24:44-46; Luke 8:9-10; Matt 16:15-17; 1 Cor 2:9-10, 4:7). Lesson 2: The way we treat ________________ ____________ is the way we treat Christ  (Luke 9:48; Matt 18:16, 10:40; Acts 8:3, 9:4-5; Matt 25:35-46). Lesson 3: __________________ is ____________________ by humility  (Luke 9:48; Matt 18:4; Mark 9:24; Col 1:29). Family Worship Guide Memory Verses: Psalm 96:1-3 Day 1: Read Luke 9:43-48 Why would it have been hard to believe Jesus was going to be rejected and killed? Why was understanding this "concealed" from them? What does all of this reveal to us? What is the source of understanding spiritual truth - where does our understanding come from? Day 2: Read Luke 9:43-48 In light of the source of our spiritual understanding, what responses should this produce in us? Considering the desired responses, do they match-up with the actual responses - that is, are you humble or prideful, when it comes to spiritual knowledge? Consider your life: who are good examples of humility when it comes to spiritual knowledge? After examining your life, what sins do you need to confess when it comes to the intended responses desired by God? Day 3: Read Luke 9:43-48 Why was it particularly ironic - and sad - that they disciples started disputing amongst themselves? Consider your own life: describe the last time you had a dispute with someone else (even if you never said a word and just kept your thoughts bottled-up inside). Assess your life: who are you serving? Why are you serving them? What is the specific spiritual fruit of your service?
