We cause ourselves a lot of unnecessary grief trying to deal with fools. The greatest danger to anyone's life is a fool. If you fellowship with fools you either already are, or you will soon be one yourself. You cannot educate a fool, or talk him out of being a fool. You cannot reason with him because to him, what he says does not have to make sense. You cannot get him to consider God because he lives and thinks as if there is no God. ("The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.") The only way to deal with a fool is to "go from the presence of a fool..." Get away from him and stay away, and be an example of what a fool is not. That is the only hope for the fool, and for saving yourself from the destruction that he will bring to your life.
