THE BIBLE'S STORY: GOSPEL ESSENTIALS #3 CHRIST'S MISSION WAS TO SUFFER AND DIE "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;…." Acts 2:22-23 This week we continue an Easter Series on THE BIBLE'S STORY by looking at GOSPEL ESSENTIALS. The word GOSPEL becomes a technical from which we dare not waver. It is the Apostolic message of who CHRIST was and what He did… and what that means for us. This morning we will look at how Christ reveals that He came to suffer and die to save His People from their sins. He does this foretelling His betrayal, His suffering and dying on the cross as the means by which His victory and our redemption would take place. These are key elements that we must know and believe. This is Who He was and what He did to become our Redeemer.
