Even while we were enemies of God and hostile towards him, we were reconciled to him and can now have peace with God. Our salvation in Christ, is not just a 'happy ending' for believers but is the complete restoration of our relationship with God. Joyful communion and peace with God is ours to receive by grace through faith in Christ.
