By faith, not unbelief, the parents of Moses were not afraid to disobey an evil mandate. Not in their own strength did they do this but in the strength of the living God they stood together to do the right thing. His parents were not afraid because their faith was in God despite the challenging pressure. His parents hid him for three months though if they had been discovered it would have cost them their lives, that's pressure. Pressure will often cause us to do something we know is wrong. Faith though is the defense God has given us to stand against such pressure. The enemy also will try to bring division but his parents are examples of the fact that we must work together. Their plan worked because they were together in their fearless faith. They got together and said this is what God wants. Now we are to obey the law that is until the law goes against God. At that point follow God and trust Him to take care of us. Their courage led to them being compensated. Not only was the life of baby Moses spared but his momma got paid to nurse him. God knows how to take care of those who have fearless faith in Him. He'll take care of you more than you expect, if we will let Him.
