The patience of the Lord is another aspect of God's character with wish we should be very familier. Our world is busy going it's own way without a thought of God except to put Him in a corner and yet seemingly nothing happens. (judgement) The only reason we can give is that the patience of God has not yet been exhausted. God's patience,like God Himself,is sovereign. It can be long or it can be short. Presuming upon the patience of God can lead to Hell. Acts 2:23 Luke 17: 28,29 2 Kings 2:23,24 I want to say to you very kindly, as long as the patience of God is being extended, there is a ray of hope because there is still yet time for individuals to be converted! If you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ at this hour you still have an opportunity to come to know Him,.. and as I've said before, I'll say again,.. the greatest thing that can happen to you, if it ever does, is when the Lord Jesus deals with your heart, opens your understanding, shows you who you are and what you are and the judgement you're under and then He begins to turn your footsteps toward Himself and draws you with the cords of everlasting love!

Today,.. my cousin's husband, Johnny Touchet, is preaching at the funeral of his own brother who died suddenly,.. and to his knowledge, without Christ. I give God the praise and glory for giving Johnny the grace to preach God's word to those people,.. his family, knowing many wont like it,.. but loving God and their souls enough to do it anyway.
May God give us the same love to witness continually and not give up praying for our unsaved family and friends,..knowing that every hour may be their last and then eterinty.
