We all sweat some time or another in our lives. So how are we sweating? Is our sweat being made for a good cause or for the wrong reasons? When we are not serving the living God we are then serving in vain or useless sweat. We are laboring and sweating for nothing; a sweat that is fruitless. Many are working hard for riches in an unhealthy effort for food and clothing that Jesus says our Father will take care of for us. No, it may not be the latest fashions or the finest food but He will supply our needs. Yes, we do have to work but we are not to go over that line and make these things our master instead of God. We can stress ourselves all we want about every little thing but it is only useless sweat. Our stressing simply shows we lack confidence in God. God knows what our needs are, and our wants too for that matter. And sometimes we get the two confused, but He never does. Seek after God, end the useless sweat, and God will supply all our needs. Just let Him.
