Nebuchadnezzar was an unusual man, but is a great example in the Old Testament of how all people really think about themselves and how they react to God's blessings until they really come to know God. There is a progression in his knowledge and understanding of God from his first contact with Daniel and the other three Hebrew captives. It was a long hard road for him, but he went from a mighty king who was very stuck on himself to a very humbled man who had truly learned that God is the King over all.
