We complete our study of 1 Thessalonians today. Last Lord’s Day we addressed 1 Thessalonians 5:21 and 22, in which we are commanded, “Test everything; hold fast what is good, abstain from every form of evil.” We are to live through each day assessing and evaluating everything using God’s Word as our standard. We are to employ the Word of God, the Holy Bible, in order to distinguish between good and evil, between truth and error, and between good and evil. We are to affirm and embrace what is good. We are to abstain from every form of evil.
