The Bible likens clay to the flesh. The four gentlement in the text had to break the roof to get the man sick to Jesus. Roofs were made of clay, so in order to get to Jesus they had to get the clay out of the way. God can use us and perform miracles when we get ourselves out of the way! Powerful message.
