Great Sermon! Your sermon was so different from what one hears today concerning the family. Some years ago when my husband and I came to Christ we had to tell our family that we were going to leave the religious system we had been raised in and would begin attending a bible believing church. It was not easy, just as you said.I remember feeling so sad that we had to hurt the family in this way. They were so, angry with us and frightened for us.But what gave me peace were the words whispered to my heart that day in particular that said, You love them but you love Me more.It put everything into perspective. As much as we loved them we loved God more.We didn't do it because we hated them.We did it because we loved God. It caused division in our family. Our children grew up without Aunts and Uncles, cousins, Grandparents but they serve the Lord to this day.Thank you for preaching the truth of God's word.God bless you Pastor Todd.
