Last week we spoke about the deeds of the flesh which was an unpleasant reminder of what we were apart from Christ. The best thing about studying such a list is being thankful for how God has redeemed us from slavery to such sin. This week we get to delight in the fruit of the Holy Spirit which is the Christlike character the Holy Spirit produces in believers.
While the deeds of the flesh are plural, the fruit of the Holy Spirit is singular. We will both examine the individual aspects of the fruit of the Holy Spirit the way you might look upon the various facets of a perfect diamond. We will also speak of how we can cultivate this fruit in our lives and in the lives of others.
