Walking the Spirit is not some cosmic, supernatural event. It is a natural occurrence of every believer. Having a relationship with God is mimicked in our relationship with one another. Paul uses the Greek word "allelon" (which means one another or mutually) nearly 40 times to describe that our relationship with God is personified in our relationship with one another. In Galatians 5, Paul contrasts the fruits of the flesh and the fruit (singular) of the Spirit, but he uses allelon more in this chapter than in any other place in his writings. The works of the flesh are all the things the Law tells you not to do and which create a separation between one another. The fruit of the Spirit, on the other hand, are not things you can legislate, they are things which put others first.
Thus, if you want to walk in the Spirit realize it is not done in a vacuum, it is done with one another.
