Peter provides us with medicine for our souls in suffering. We will face inevitable trials, but we have invisible hope, leading to unspeakable joy.
The key to success in suffering is our ability to trust God through the trials. We must see our trials as gifts called suffering because our suffering is linked to God's eternal plan.
In trials we should cheer up, gird up, clean up, and warm up.
This is part 2 of this series where we focus on "cheer up," which is rejoicing in the Lord amidst the trials we face, 1 Peter 1:6.
