A person who is held against their will is a hostage. Well Jesus has come to deliver those who are held hostage by whatever it is that holds us tight. Here the hostage situation is insecurity, which speaks of fear, self doubt, and uncertainty about things. When God appoints us to do something He will empower us. We don’t think we can do it. God however will send encouragement to motivate us. Once we know and believe that He is with us we can overcome our fears and insecurities.
