This is the whole point of the storm: that these disciples would tremble in the presence of the high king of heaven and say "Who then is this?" And we will never get this revelation of Christ's glory for ourselves until we learn to embrace the storm, because that's where it's found – when we've come to the end of ourselves and have no hope to stay afloat except for the voice of Christ saying "Peace, Be Still." The Lord will bring us into perilous circumstances of our own and we will miss Christ if all we want to do is stay safe, so let's be done with the idol of safety, and embrace the storm so that we might gain a fresh vision of Christ that causes us to say, "Who then is this?"
