Continuing our examination of Limited Atonement, this week we set out to properly define this key doctrine as well as address some common objections. As the third point of the Doctrines of Grace (Five Points of Calvinism) Limited Atonement, or the "L" in the acronym TULIP, is often the most controversial. As you watch this week ask yourself, "What was the purpose of Jesus' death?" Did Jesus die for all people, or just some people? Was his death universal, for the whole world? A atoning death for all people, including those who find themselves suffering eternity in Hell? Do individuals like Rob Bell, or those with a Universalist or Arminian viewpoint have it right? Was Christ's death powerful and sufficient to achieve salvation, or is salvation conditioned by a choice we must first make? We pray you'll join us for "The Doctrines of Grace: Limited Atonement (Part II)" as we attempt to answer these questions and more!
