As the seventh seal has been opened, we see the seven angels wait on sounding their seven trumpets of judgements until the prayers of the saints have been taken from the altar by Jesus Christ, purified in Him, and presented to the Father. Then, these prayers are thrown down upon earth to take effect, and only then are the seven angels prepared to sound the trumpets about the judgments now coming on the Earth through these answered imprecatory prayers. God's eternal decrees (Rev. Chapter 5) about the Last Days are executed by Jesus Christ (Revelation Chapter 6) through the prayers of His saints (Rev. 8:1-6) as His ordained means to His ordained end through the Last Days that are leading toward the Last Day. We are not spectators, but participants in Christ's taking over the world for Himself and our good. The Christian's prayers are a force to be reckoned with!
